Ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long attends the fifth Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR)

On 18th July 2012, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the S.R. of Viet Nam to the Republic of Italy NGUYEN HOANG LONG attended the fifth Meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Rome (ACR), which comprises of Ambassadors of Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Viet Nam. At the meeting, the Ambassador, together with his ASEAN colleagues, discussed on measures to promote and enhance the image of the ASEAN in Italy as well as to strengthen the ASEAN-Italy cooperation in the future, among them are the organization of a visit of ACR to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Milan (tentatively in early October 2012); and the organization of the ASEAN Food Festival (November 2012). On this occasion, the Ambassador of Viet Nam also informed about the ASEAN flag hoisting ceremony at the Embassy of Viet Nam on 30th July 2012 and the plan to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Viet Nam-Italy relations in 2013.
